Nvivo is a software program for the qualitative analysis of data and can handle materials such as interview data, survey data, scanned documents, images, and videos.
Nvivo is designed to make qualitative analysis simpler and more manageable, especially when dealing with large amounts of data. It helps ease the process and makes it more manageable to understand and organize information from various sources.
All RUC students and researchers can obtain an Nvivo license and use the program for their studies or research. Courses are offered at two different levels: for RUC students and for Ph.D. students and staff at RUC.
The purpose of this course is to teach participants how to prepare and import data for analysis in Nvivo, as well as provide an overview of some basic analysis tools in Nvivo. The course is a workshop consisting of presentations and practical exercises. Participants can work with their own material or use exercise materials provided during the course.
Learning objectives: After the course, participants will be able to:
Target group: RUC students. Maximum of 15 participants.
Language: The workshop is primarily in English but can be conducted in Danish if all participants prefer it.
All RUC students and researchers can obtain an Nvivo license and use the program for their studies or research.

NVivo is developed for Windows, but it is also possible to use it on Mac-computers, although both the interface and some of the functions are different. Some Mac-users prefer running Nvivo using a Windows Partition on their computer.
