The aim of the course is to equip you with the essential skills and knowledge needed when searching for literature for your projects at Roskilde University. We will guide you through the fundamental steps of the search process, covering important aspects such as keyword selection and block searches, as well as Boolean operators (AND, OR) and other essential search techniques.
The course is structured as a hands-on session, allowing you to apply these skills in a practical context during which you embark on a literature search for your own project. By the end of the course, you will have a basic understanding of how to search for literature in an academic context.
If you have received training in literature search from the library, we do not recommend that you enroll in this course. The course is aimed at students who have not received training from the library or are new to RUC.
