Research registration at Roskilde University: Activities

Reporting activities

ACTIVITIES IN PURE

At RUC, there is no requirement to report professional activities. Reporting and displaying activities via your research profile is therefore optional. Many researchers believe that recording professional activities helps present them as "well-rounded researchers," rather than showcasing only publications.

At Roskilde University Library, we recommend that you enter all relevant research activities in Pure, such as editorial work, conference participation, presentations at conferences, and similar. All registered activities are visible on Roskilde University’s research portal and are linked to each researcher’s organizational units.

Please note that reported activities are not approved or validated, so it is very important to proofread carefully.

The following activities, among others, can be reported in Pure:

- Peer review work (Only ongoing editorial work. Completed works should be reported as a publication)
- Participation in conferences and similar events
- Lectures and oral contributions
- Membership in committees, assessment committees, councils, and boards
- Examination and external examiner activities
- Guest lectures at other universities
