COURSES FOR RESEARCHERS, TEACHING STAFF, AND PH.D. STUDENTS

At Roskilde University Library we offer a range of specialized courses designed to enhance your research and teaching skills. We offer two types of courses: tailored courses that are customized to fit your specific needs, and courses in collaboration with the Unit of Academic Development (UAD/EAE).

The courses include, among others:

• Literature search and Literature review: Get a thourough introduction to methods and techniques in the early stages of your research.
• Data management: Learn how to plan, handle, and publish your data in accordance with the FAIR-principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) to ensure optimal transparency.
• Specific research methods: Gain an insight into methods such as Citizen Science.
• Analytic tools: Improve your skills in using tools such as Nvivo and R to strengthen your data analysis.
• Publication and visibility: Familiarize yourself with bibliometrics, H-Index, and other methods to increase the visibility and impact of your research.
• AI: Get introduced to ways you can use AI both in literature searches and in your teaching.
