This course offers an introduction to NVivo for researchers and PhD-students. NVivo is a powerful software tool for qualitative data analysis. It supports the analysis of various data sources, including interview transcriptions, surveys, videos, images and literature. In this introductory course, you will learn how to import data, prepare it for analysis and perform both manual and automated coding. The course is based on NVivo 14 Pro for Windows, with limited support for Mac users.

INSTALLATION AND LICENSE
All students and researchers at RUC can obtain an NVivo license and use the program for their studies or research.
On the Service Portal, you will find intructions for installation as well as the license key.
NVivo is primarily developed for Windows, but it is also available for Mac. However, there are differences in the interface and some functionalities between the Windows and Mac versions. As a result, some Mac users prefer running NVivo on a Windows partition on their Mac for a more seamless experience.
